American singer, songwriter, producer, Heather Fay is a Pop/R&B recording artist breaking out of the midwest. Born in Pekin, Illinois and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, Fay showed a strong affinity for all things music at a young age. She taught herself to play the piano at the age of nine and began to write music by the third grade. She turned her love for writing poetry into skillful songwriting and eventually inked a deal as the newest signee under Bungalo Records, Universal Music Group Dist.

After being paired with Grammy Award winning writers and producers, Fay began to develop her catalogue where she stored her new single, “The One” (available on all platforms here). “The One” has created an undisputable lane for Heather in the music industry and is climbing up the charts as we speak. Racking in overwhelming support from critics worldwide, this single proves to be the first to come of many Heather Fay hits.

Her musical influences are diverse and defy easy definition; she grew up immersed in music from Mariah Carey to Christina Aguilera, and Beyonce to Alicia Keys. REPORT: Heather Fay- The One on BillboardSound.com

Heather Fay, who has toiled to have her music heard without the backing of a record label, is now poised for a run up the charts with her first single, to be released today, through Bungalo Records/Universal Music Group Dist.

She was paired with Grammy-award winning writers and producers, Tony Haynes and Lloyd Tolbert and began to create and produce her catalog. Her first single, “The One,” was released today, March 22 and was written by Fay, with Haynes and Todd Hurtt.

“Working with Bungalo and Universal is a dream come true,” Fay said. “I am grateful to have the opportunity to work with these two powerful and iconic companies that have accomplished so much with so many great artists.”

Fay got her start in entertainment in her hometown, Kansas City, Missouri, where she worked as a model and was featured in many print advertising campaigns. She moved to Los Angeles and began to capitalize on a lifelong love of music, which included teaching herself to play piano at age 9, and writing music by third grade. She turned an affinity for writing poetry into skillful songwriting.

She recorded and independently released her first single, “Killin’ Me.” A song that showed off both Fay’s vocal chops and featured her in a slick video, it quickly gained her a fan base and led to booking shows, both as a solo performer, and as an opener for YMCMB’s Chanel West Coast.

A second single, “Let’s Get Close” arrived shortly after, and not only impressed fans but caught the attention of Paul Ring, CEO, and President of Bungalo Records, who signed Fay.

Let’s not forget that Heather designs and make a lot of her own pieces and this one is GORGE! It’s much different from the dress she made the following year for this dress in particular is knee length which is risky but fun. Makes for a perfect New Year’s Dress. The black fabric is sharp and hugs her body to fit like a glove. But the CRYSTALS. The crystals make the whole piece come to life. She put them in a horizontal like design that goes with the shape of her body and her figure just dazzles in this.

As you can see in the video that she posted that looks like a boomerang or GIF, when she walks towards the camera the whole dress sparkles and it looks so beautiful. She did an amazing job. I would have loved to have seen the head to toe in the video but that okay because we at least got that in the image. (posted below)

Can we talk about her legs? Can we talk about her body? Can we TALK ABOUT THIS STANCE!?!??? Her hair is perfection! Her eyes locking into the camera is everything. Her legs that seem never ending in her ankle strap shoes are so beautiful. This length of dress is a good length for her. I love how effortless and natural her hair and makeup always are. Look at how this dress sparkles even in just a picture!!!

I will say the picture is kind of blurry but when she’s looking like this in the photo who gives a rip! She still flawless from head to toe and either way we can get the just of it. I wouldn’t mind seeing other variations of this same design but we will see what she does! Well done! We love it!

Heather Fay reps Kansas City on her instagram @iamheatherfay @theheatherfayreport

As we all know little Miss Heather Fay is from the midwest and more specifically Kansas City, MO. She has tagged a handful of her instagram photos in KC and in some of them we can actually see the skyline or other parts of the city in the background. It is hard to tell when she is actually there and what for and how long. Either way we love getting a glimpse of her hometown and it’s nice seeing her in her element there.

She has a different vibe to her when she is repping KC. If you look at this photo in particular Heather‘s demeanor in general has a lot more cock to her walk (in a good way). We can somewhat get a glimpse of the overall Kansas City vibe. That raw edge and attitude and the pride that everyone there has for their city. It actually seems pretty cool. You can tell by this image that Heather takes a lot of pride in the city she comes from.

The facial expression tells us a lot as well. Again with the edge and attitude. I’m not even sure how to describe the type of appeal this has but it’s intriguing to us. The leather jacket and baggy denim. There is a lot of downtown Kansas City girl appeal. I would have like to have scene a different filter on this photo though its takes away from her typically olive-esque skin tone and makes it a bit over exposed causing a red tint to appear in the shadows. But other than the filter/lighting I still LOVE the overall vibe in this photo.

It’s nice to see this side of Heather. We typically get the pretty girl high heels version which don’t get me wrong is gorgeous. Seeing this more down to earth Heather has a lot of value to it also I would suggest that she consider doing more of it. She is pretty regardless however these looks are more relatable. Maybe a little bit of both??

WOW! Just WOW! How she has evolved in a few years this is mind blowing but what else do you expect from this creative talent! Not only is she smoking hot but she also hand made half of the outfits she’s wearing in the collages. Look at the first one and then go to the last. Although there is a couple year difference she still looks the same. Overall after looking at all of these I can’t help but find myself wondering, why hasn’t this girl come out with a clothing line!!!???!?! I WANT! I NEED! PLEASE!

Heather Fay gives tour of studio session

Heather Fay is a recording artist from Kansas City, Missouri who is very hands on with all aspects of what she does. Not only does she sing but she is also involved in the writing and production process of her music as well. There is a piece of her in all parts of her work which we find to be fascinating!

Here is a snapshot that was shot in the middle of one of her studio sessions where she politely allows us to have a glimpse of her behind the scenes world (which we want and need a lot more of sweetie, I’m just saying). It helps you to understand what all goes into creating a record from scratch and having the ability to do such a thing still has our minds in disarray. There is a lot more to it than what meets the eye, but any who…

We cannot wait to here her unreleased music that she has been cooking up (in secrecy no doubt *eye roll*) and aside from all of the music work let us take a moment and just look at her in this photo. Natural, candid and oh so beautiful! She was happy to give a glimpse of her behind the curtain life (that remains a mystery for the most part) and she glows while doing so. She is happy and in her element which explains why everything that this woman creates is so spectacular.

Hello there sexy Heather Fay! After staring at this photo I am now currently planning out my diet and expertise routine. But it’s okay. No big deal. We will see what happens with that later, but in the mean time lets just look at Heather’s photo. Okay, great idea!

How does one achieve a hot body like this chica right here! Magic? We’ll never know. One things for sure that whatever her workout is its something we all need in our lives. Heather strikes a post against a simple backdrop to show her body in a simple swimsuit. We are not sure why her hair is in her face but lets be honest we are all looking at her flawless figure and trunk to figure out how the f$%k we can get our bodies to look like that! Heather needs to share her secrets, yes? Please and thank you!

Update: I still have not fallen through with my diet and exercise plan I keep forgetting but HEY, I will figure it out eventually, right!? We will see. I do love having this photo as a reminder that bodies like this can exist and boy do we love it.

“THE ICON – MAKE WAY FOR HEATHER FAY “

“The Icon – MAKE WAY FOR HEATHER FAY” That title seems fitting considering the effect she has had eve just as a startup musician on the local scene. So what exactly is in store for Heather Fay in the future. Luckily we get a glimpse of that in this several page spread in the WeLab magazine Holiday Edition. Well lets dig in.
